Report: 1,000 arrested since demonstrations broke out in Egypt

Report:

Egyptian authorities arrested at least one thousand people since demonstrations in the country began last Tuesday, security sources said Thursday.  Security forces were deployed to Cairo after two days of unprecedented demonstrations against the country’s thirty-year-old ruling government.  The demonstrations left at least six people dead and dozens more wounded. The group responsible for rallying the demonstrators called on Egyptians to continue moving the protest forward, reports said Thursday.
